The best part about any murder story is the mystery and suspense of discovering who is murdered and who is the killer, right? Well, what if there was no mystery? What if the killers were revealed in the very beginning of the story? Would it still be as exciting? That is exactly what Truman Capote answers in his novel In Cold Blood. In an attempt to establish a new genre of crime writing, Capote reveals the murder in the opening paragraphs, and the killers are made known within the first chapter.
