Capote’s childhood was spent with Harper lee and so he had a lot of creativity between the two of them. In, In Cold Blood he structured the book into four main parts of the story. Capote was very interested in writing a factual based novel. In his novel In Cold Blood Truman Capote wanted to write an all factual true book even though all his other stories were short stories based off his childhood and life experience.
Analysis -Question 3: In, In Cold Blood by Truman capote he splits the book into four parts. In the first part he explains the people who got murdered their lives. He starts to build the suspense by explaining who these people were not knowing when and why they were going to get murdered. In addition to this, he even switches to the killers and what they were doing up in tell the murder. Truman uses the characters and suspence to build the setting and beginning of his book.

He explains it is taking place in a small town in Kansas. The people were really connected everyone knew each other. “By custom, the hunters, if they are not invited guest, are supposed to pay the landowner a fee for letting them pursue their quarry on his premises,...”I’m not as poor as I look. Go ahead, get all you can,...” (Capote 13) Even allowing strangers on their land to hunt birds. He knew these men used this as their livelihood and didn't need the money so he allowed them.
