Introduction This paper speaks of the glory of God in the life of David. God created us to serve Him, this can be trough serving our brethren. God manifested in the life of David, the young shepherd who will later become a King. The question we are about to answer here is that, did God prepared David in anticipation to make him a king or did God called David in a matter of urgency. The paper is not a story, but it is the account of king David through the will of God. Referenced from the Bible, 1 Samuel 16-31.

Body King David was a man of power and determination. From the beginning of his life, there was no information to tell us whether he was a man of ambition. However, His eldest brother called him prideful, this indicate that he strived for greatness. But we learn about his bravery as a young shepherd. We can easily confirm that in the life of king David. But before then, Israel already had a king, King Saul, who was also anointed by the same prophet, Samuel, through God’s instruction. However, Saul disobeyed God while David strived to know the way of the Lord. His faith and humility exalted him, David knew and understood who a Shepard was. God endued him with the wisdom and knowledge to understand the task of a leader.
Consider how God led David to Saul. It was the same time when Saul and his army needed respond from God to send somebody who can face the Philistine and Goliath. That was the time that God manifested in the life of the young valiant shepherd to save His people.
