Hate crime against sexual orientation has increased 15% in 2015. This has increased in only a year. Several gay victims died of being attacked because of their choice of sexuality. Homosexuals should earn more respect. They should be treated as humans and not animals. Statistical information shows that gays and lesbians are being attacked more than heterosexuals. Since 1991 more than 100,000 hate crimes have been reported to the FBI. Sexual orientation ranks as the third-highest motivator for hate crime incidents. In 2014, 1,265 LGBT hate crimes were reported to the FBI, which is a 6% increase from 2013. Something has to be done.

They should be seen as any other regular person. Sexuality prefrences doesn’t have anything to do with character. They should get the same rights as any couple. More than anything they should have adoption rights. Over 58,000 children are put up for adoption each year in the United States. Children need a family regardless of sexual preference. 60 % of orphanage girls become prostitues and 70% of orphanage boys become hardened criminals. If they have a family, we could decrease the crime in orphans.

Many homosexuals are comitting suicide because others are judging them for being who they are. 8% of homosexual men has killed themselves each year. They should not be judged because of what they choose to be in life. People shouldn’t be judged for their sexuality, but for their actions They are just like any other person on earth. Just because they like the same sex doesn’t mean they should stand apar in civilization, Everyone deserves respect and treated equally.

Recently, two men beat gay people in downtown Philadelphia. A day after that 6 men in tortured several gay teens and posted online to the media. Thousands of people are being tortured and it is time to put it into an end. America is allowing this to happen so not only is this making America look bad, but also the Americans. Sexuality doesn’t define personality. In fact, one gay person could be the person that can change the world. Being gay does not affect the important things.
