Introduction
The purpose of this study is to determine the adversities Latina immigrants go through when they start their lives in the United States . Latina struggle is an underrepresented problem in which information is very limited. Many Latina immigrants come to this country alone and unfamiliar with the life in the United States . Coming to an unfamiliar place and having to start a life with no sort of help or guidance can put so much stress on peoples lives and this is exactly what many immigrant Latinas go through. A big consequence from the lack of support Latinas go through once they arrive to the United States sometimes cause them to develop mental health issue. Methodology
This study will involve a case study of a Latina Immigrant and her experience and struggles when starting their lives in the United States . I will meet with this person outside of John Jay. We will meet on a Friday in the afternoon as we both are free at that time. Questions that I will include are:

What are somethings you did not expect to experience once you arrived to the United States ?
What difficulties did you go through when you arrived to the United States ?
What would you think would need to be changed so future Latina Immigrants do not have to go through the same thing?
Do you think there should be more support groups for Latina immigrants?
What would advice would you give Latina immigrants?

Researcher Stance
I am a Latina although i was born in the United States . As long as i can remember I’ve seen my mom who is a Latina immigrant struggle to reach stability in the United States . At first I thought it was a struggle only few went through. As I got older i noticed that it was a big dilemma shared by many Latina immigrants.
