In liver cancer malignant tissue forms in the liver. Frequently, the discomforts of liver cancer do not occur until long after they appear. Liver cancer is detected at an advanced stage, many liver tumors are discovered quite late. Hepatocarcinoma occurs mainly in the context of liver damage caused by chronic infection of hepatitis B virus or C, alcoholic cirrhosis, and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. The disease consisting of an accumulation of fat and inflammation of the liver and that occurs in patients with insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes mellitus with poor metabolic control.The risk factor for liver cancer is permanent cell damage due to hepatitis virus. The risk is even greater the longer the infection.
