Lost Boys of Sudan A war that lasted 20 years, killed around 2 million, and displaced about 4 million people. This war killed so many families and destroyed so many homes, that there have been thousands of lost boys. Life in Sudan, life in America, and life now have been extremely different and difficult for Peter Nyrol Dutt and Santino Majok Chuor. These two boys were only two of 20,000 lost boys seeking help, but their story is still worth knowing. In Sudan, Peter and Santino wandered hundreds of miles in the desert with 20,000 other boys seeking safety.
