Unbroken
Unbroken is a story about Louis Zamperini the olympic track and field long distance runner. In nineteen forty one Louis enlisted in the U.S army air force. In He and a two others got stranded at sea and captured by the Japanese during World War two. They were tortured and they thought they were going to die. Louis never gave up and he was unbroken.
Louis Zamperini was born in Olean, New York. When he moved to California he would get in trouble with the law. Louis had a dream of stealing food, trying to catch a train and running away. His older brother told Louis to change his life around and introduced him to track and field. When he was in highschool he beat and made new records. Louis was setting new times that the U.S olympic track team asked him to run for them. In nineteen thirty six he set a new world record for the fastest lap time during a five thousand meter race at fifty six seconds, but he finished in only eighth place.

The war had a horrible effect on Louis. He developed a drinking problem and had trouble sleeping. Him and Cynthia had a daughter together. One day she found Louis Shaking the baby because he had a flashback of the time he spent in those Japanese camps. He had a dreams of killing that evil guard who had it out for him. Cynthia did not know how to help Zamperini, so she filed for divorce and wanted to leave Louis. Till she meets Billy Graham who tells her to bring Louis to one of his sermons. Louie was so moved by Billie's preaching that he stopped drinking and remembered back to on the raft when god helped him get through those dark and miserable times. He forgave everyone who had harmed him during the war, and would have liked to forgive that sadistic guard in
