The Louisiana Purchase The Purchase of Louisiana territory wasn't one of the easiest business purchases as one might think. The Louisiana Purchase was a commemorable purchase to the United States since it brought many new things to the U.S. the purchase brought many things to America, for example, it brought much more land for the farmers, control to the rivers and more power to the small country. The French decided to give us the land since it was risky to keep it so they decided to offer it to the American territory. The Louisiana Purchase took a stand in history by giving land to the U.S. territory and by that it lead to the expansion towards the western part of what is now the part of the United States.

The government and with the new land decide to expand more which lead to the westward expansion of the U.S. Since the U.S. expanded by the Louisiana purchase it also damaged a lot of the native american land that was there so the Native Americans were unsettled about that. Since the french gave the land to the U.S the British weren't too happy about that. The federalists weren't too happy about the fact that they had to govern more part of the land and it was an unconstitutional purchase. If the purchase of the Louisiana territory there would have been no expansion towards the western part of what is now part of the U.S. There would have been states that would have been under control of Mexico or the British so then the United States would have stayed a small union. The purchase was a great buy for the United states because if that had never had happened during the 1800s we would have been a small, weak union that other countries could have attacked and that would be troublesome to the country.
