Black segregation will forever be a sad part in the heart of our country. Martin Luther king Jr. was a baptist minister and a social activists who accomplished many feats (“Martin Luther King Jr”). King was also the leader of the african-american civil rights movement. King did all this because king strongly disagreed with segregation and violence (“About Dr. King”). King also believed in christianity and his main influence was Jesus Christ (“Martin Luther King Jr”). Biography”). First, Martin luther King was assassinated at the lorraine motel in memphis, tennessee(“Martin Luther King Jr.”). Second, Before martin died he was planning a national occupation called the poor people's campaign(“About Dr. King”). Lastly, He was killed by a lethal firearm by James Earl Ray a 40 year old escaped fugitive(“Martin Luther King Jr.”). Ambulances tried to save him but he was pronounced dead at 7:05pm. April 4, 1968(“About Dr. King”). Martin Was known for many great things that only he at his time had the confidence to do. First, he also had many great accomplishments that put him in the big book of heroes and history. Second, sadly he left us on the sad day of April 4, 1968 when he was assassinated by use of lethal firearms(“About Dr. KIng”). Lastly, Dr. King was a great man who will be renowned for hopefully a long time to come because he was a great man who rose to great heights to follow his heart.
