For this exercise, I selected the slides that showed images of medical professionals. The slides presented three images of medical professionals. People in these images probably have different positions within the medical field. With few exceptions, most of the individuals in these images look they have selected a professional attire appropropriate for the medical field. Some of them are wearing scrubs, which is appropriate for some positions in the medical field. Others are wearing shirts and ties. The hairstyle of these individuals appears to be appropriate for the setting. I did not notice any tattoos, excessive piercings, or too much skin showing. In the image number one, individuals appear professional, with appropriate attire, comfortable shoes, and appropriate appearance as members of the medical field. …show more content…
Although the style of clothing looks professional, the bright colors of the slacks and the tie caught my attention immediately; which can affect the credibility as a health care professional. The girl in blue scrubs seems to be wearing appropriate uniform for the medical field, but depending on her position, the shoes seem to be uncomfortable. In the medical field, comfortable shoes are important especially if you position requires to be walking or standing for long hours. Another girl in image number two who is wearing knee length skirt and lab coat seems to be dress appropriate for the field, however if her job requires to stand or walk for long hours such as those in nursing positions, the high heeled shoes would be extremely uncomfortable and could hinder her performance. In the image number three, there is a person that is wearing tight clothing and another person whose shoes appeared duty or stained. All of these details can have a negative impact on the appearance and credibility of a health care
