The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom, is about a man on a journey to discover the meaning of his life. Eddie, the main character, meets his Captain in war and finds out that he was the one that shot him. At first, he was very angry, but then it explained it was to help him. In the movie, it explained and portrayed the captain as a scary man, even though in the book he was really calm and was just like “how do you like them apples” joking around. The book and movie were similar in that the captain shot Eddie's leg to save him. They also had in common that in both they meet in the tree and talk about flashbacks to during the war. A difference was that in the book Eddie always talked about the crazy’s; Crazy One, Crazy Two, Crazy
