Part A – Movie Treatment
Setting
1, 000 years in the future, chemically deformed elites rule over humanity. Slowly over time, generation to generation, the elite class slowly mutate, growing a bigger dependence on technology, and processed natural resources. Because of this dependency, the earth is left as a dry barren desert. The elites artificially manufactured resources, and breed human, sometimes cloned within their specialized facilities. On the outskirts of the elites’ community there lived a community of outcasts living apart from the elites. The outcasts, unlike the other humans in their era, live against the elites, pillaging whatever resources they could from their community, and fight to preserve their human spirit from control.

They also had their own social hierarchy much like the Vikings. In the community, there was a leader who much acted like a king. Being the strongest, and the human populist being small, the Leader generally would adopt apprentices much like his own children and teach them his skills that way, once his time expires, the strongest of them would be able to gain leadership in battle, and over the community. Generally the most talented of them would become a protégé, shadowing over the leader in order to better gain experience, in war techniques and weaponry.

Main Characters:
The Leader – The leader of the community of rebels, has a near death experience during battle; something which has never happened before. Convinced he has become too old for his role in the community decides to step down while is reputation as the most skilled fighter remains. Unfortunately for this egotistic old man, flattery gets to his head.
The Protégé – the leader’s favorite and closest shadow, is crudely honest. He refuses to humble himself to anyone, but at the same time is extremely loyal and kind hearted. Despite being casted off by his trusted leader, he still returns to try and save him from his fate.

The elites of the future survive by artificially manufacturing the resources needed, and genetically engineered and sometimes cloned human slaves to work producing resources. On the out skirts of the earth’s deserts there lives a tribe of outlaws, who survive by pillaging the elites in order to obtain the resources needed to survive. The leader of this tribe has his protégé who is his closest student in the art of wat and survival, and his two apprentices who also learn under the leader. One day during battle the leader nearly dies. This shocked him, inspiring him to give up his power to one of his three students. His main concern leaving the legacy of being an undefeated leader and fighter, his ego gets the best of him, leaving him victim to flattery when deciding who is to take over his rule. Unfortunately his protégé refuses to “suck up” to the leader, angering him, the leader then has him ties up to a camel, casting him out of their territory. The protégé then finds himself by a family of a father and two sons. The oldest who has always saved his father’s life during battle felt he was not appreciated as much as he should. Since he felt that his younger brother got more respect and power, conspires a plan to do away with both of them. Unfortunately, his father who wasn’t all too bright, and his younger brother who
