In my opinion a hero is someone you can look up to, and depend on throughout your life and follow their footsteps. I would have to say my sister has been my hero throughout my life. If it wasn’t for my sister I wouldn’t be who I am today. My sister has always been there for me when I needed her the most. I can always go to her for anything that’s on my mind or that I’m struggling with. My sister and I have always been close through everything. If it wasn’t for my sister I wouldn’t be as strong as I am when it comes to talking to people about stuff. My sister and I use to always fight, no whatever what it was about we were always fighting. I have always said that no matter what happens when we both get older and grow up, we are always going to be there for one and other, and that’s where we are today. My sister is my best friend, we talk about everything. She knows all my little secrets that I would never think about telling my mom, and I know that when I tell her that it is safe with her because that’s the kind of friendship we have. If I didn’t have my sister in my life right now, I honestly don’t know what I’d do, I’d be lost without her. We are so close that we can finish each others sentences. She has always told me to follow my heart in what I do best, and I am. I am going to a cosmetology school to do what i love. All together I know my sister is my hero, and she will always be. She is the number one person in my life right now. I am so thankful to have an older sister like her that I can look up too. I know she will always been there for me until the end. I don’t know what I’d do without her. I could never imagine the person I would be honoring is

Falstaff, "For my part, if a lie may do thee grace, I'll gild it with the happiest terms I have" (5.4.161-162). Hal is stating that it is perfectly normal to lie as long as it does good in the end. The prince is once again showing his immaturity and lack of of responsibility towards his fellow people. As a matter of fact, Hal is also proved a liar when Falstaff shouts at Prince Hal and says "Whew! A plague upon you all! Give me my horse, you rogues; give me my horse, and be hanged!" (2.2.59). himself anymore, he also cares about other people. Another person that Conrad cares about is Jeanine. Jeanine is a prime example of how Conrad is getting better, because at the beginning of the book all Conrad would do is sit alone, but now that he is getting better he is able to actually care about someone. When Conrad first went to Jeanine’s house she was sad because her mom was dating another man “She was with him when she was still married to my dad” (Guest 228) but because Conrad does not
“The Day My Daddy Left Me”
My dad had been sick for a very long time; the doctors told us he was sick for about a year or two, but the week before he went into the hospital was the worst thing for us ever. He was sick the entire week; he had to call out of work. He had always said, “It hurts to move, my chest is hurting really bad. Jeannie, will you go in my bathroom and get my inhaler? Natalie, will you call your mom and get her to go to the store and get me some medicine, please?” My dad was

I was once told by a man, that I could achieve anything that I put my mind to and if I strive everyday, I could reach my goal. Hello, my name is Daazmen Thompson, I am 15 years old, I am a sophomore at Harmony school of Advancement. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas in a good, Christian environment.
Growing up, my parents always kept me in line, resulting in my polite manners, and respectfulness towards others. One thing that set me apart from everyone was my smile.
same sex homes. In fact, this issue has been going on for centuries. Same sex homes have just as much rights as any other homes to raise children but this subject has so many people in an up roar that it really bothers me. My question is, “Who are you to judge?” Who are you to have a say how a person should live their lives especially if their not harming anyone? Who are you to put rules and laws in order to stop someone else’s happiness or a chance to live a life similar to your own? What are
In my foods for breakfast I choose things with complex carbohydrates in order to give my athlete a slow release of energy which would help him through the day and last until the next meal which would improve his performance due to the extra-long lasting energy from these foods chosen.
The foods I used for example where porridge, granary bread, oats which were all complex foods which release energy slower than other foods which means that my athlete will not eat and then use

see some of her iron control crack. Later, when she refers back to a joke Shelby had
made, she almost breaks down. As she is trying to leave, Truvy asks her if she is okay,
and this opens the flood gates. M'Lynn lets out all of her grief and rage, while her
friends look on helplessly. Clairee has an idea that breaks the tension and allows
everyone to breathe again. As Truvy says, "Laughter through tears is my favorite
emotion." The play ends on a life
UNIX and the UNIX look-alike system Linux both have something for everyone. For the everyday user, these are friendly systems that offer a huge array of commercial and free software, including a free office suite. For the programmer, UNIX and Linux are ideal for collaborative development of software because they offer powerful tools and utilities. For the system administrator,
UNIX and Linux contain time-tested and leading-edge tools for networking and multiuser management. In this
In everyday life, everyone has to make decisions. Sometimes decisions are important and affect a lot of people. Therefore, the decisions maker should be careful when making these kinds of decisions. According to “Lesson 2 Problem Solving: Look for Solutions” there are many different decision-making styles. I have found out that my primary decision-making style is the examining style, which means “tak[ing] a great deal of time to understand every possible option”. It also depends on using my
