Net Neutrality is defined as the principle that internet service providers should give to the

people who buy their service such as people, schools, businesses, and many others access to

content that is legal and applications on an equal basis. These sources cannot be favored by the

provider or they cannot block you from others. Many people not familiar with the internet and all

it does might get internet service providers and content providers mixed up. Content providers

also be good, like the situation with Comcast, they have now combined with Time

Warner Cable. They are delivering the best to their customers and booming bigger and

better than ever. Net neutrality might be bad for a business when improvements need to

be made. Someone will need to cover the costs. Also, there will be a time when

competition will decrease and the costs will go up to the consumers. This will hurt the

businesses because their customers will no longer be happy.

better service. Also if someone has bad service they can be left with bad content. It could

be behind and not up to date. If internet would have started like this, it would not be

where it is today and providers would be sold at a low value, much less than they are

worth to much bigger companies. Businesses could be hurt If this switch occurred.

Especially the small businesses trying to start out online. They might not have the money

to afford the high tiered service and then they would fall behind to other companies
