When you think of a role model, you might think of actors, leaders, athletes, and many others. When you think of role models in the NFL, you might think of big names like Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, and Tom Brady. These players have reached amazing achievements, whether it was helping causes off the field, or winning titles on the field. These players show what a good role model is by being an example to the younger generation. They are able to juggle their hard work on the field, and their big heart off the field. A player that does this who doesn't get much spotlight is Donovan McNabb. He helps causes that are close to him, and makes those who doubt him feel stupid. He was selected to the pro bowl six times (2000-2004, 2009) and was second in the MVP voting in 2000. In 2004, he was the NFC Player of the Year and NFC Offensive Player of the Year. McNabb was an amazing player the second he started playing. He brought the team together, which brought him close to a MVP award. He donated a lot of money to charity including being a national spokesperson for the fight against diabetes. He won countless awards, which include NFC Player of the Year, while helping big and small causes. Donovan McNabb did amazing things, no matter how hard it was. He achieved huge accomplishments, no matter how many people doubted him. He will always be a role model for never giving up, and giving a lot to
