The Old Testament talks about numerous different cities across the Middle-East, one of these historical cities is Nineveh. Nineveh is located in what is now northern Iraq. The city is exceptionally prominent in the Old Testament, which is one reason why the city is so historically significant. There are five other subjects that show how important Nineveh is in the Old Testament. These other subjects include; the geographical location, archeological work that illuminates the past, theological significance, New Testament significance, and modern significance.
