- A universal testing machine* was used to apply and measure tensile dislodging forces.
- A metal plate with four tapped opening (holes) was attached to the chains by secews. Another chains was screwed into the center of the metal plate to unite the plate with its four chains to the crosshead of the machine. (Fig20)

- The four chains were balanced (adjusted) by tightening the screws connected to the plate before each measurement to reduce slacks to minimum [6, 145].
- An acrylic bar projection was constructed at the base of the test model and orientated anteroposteriorly across the center of the cast which stabilized with a clamp to a stainless steel plate fixed to the testing machine[145].
- The testing machine comprises of 2 vertical arms and a crosshead at right angle to the 2 arms. A load cell is attached to the crosshead to control its speed and directions, which was adjusted to move in tensile mode by a PC controlled programming, which allow the collection of information.
- The occlosal plane of the test model was set even with the horizontal plane of a metal plate of the universal testing
