The aquatic ecosystems are all located in the ocean. The ocean is very massive and deep, as of today we have only explored 5% percent of the ocean and it takes up 70% of the world. There are five different zones in the ocean at five different depths of the oceans. Three of them are the are epipelagic, mesopelagic, and bathypelagic.
Epipelagic is located at about 200 meters to the surface. This contains most of the sea creatures we see, some are sharks, dolphins, stingrays, or starfish.
