Determination is one of the most powerful character traits for a person to obtain. It can drive one’s goals and aspirations. In the Odyssey by Homer, Odysseus uses his determination to complete some of his most daunting tasks. Therefore, Odysseus most significant character trait is his determination because it drives him home to his old life.
During Odysseus’s travels home, he perseveres through new challenges. Odysseus runs into a cyclops and gets stuck in his cave.
