Oprah Winfrey is a leader that leads by aspiring others to follow her lead. Oprah is a leader with confidence. Confidence is a leadership skill that may draw others to her. Oprah has said to have been damaged with many things that has happened in her past but her will to want to succeed and no give up is a great leadership trait to show to others (Oprah Winfrey 1992). It gives others something to look forward to. Oprah also shows a lot of intelligence Oprah showed her intelligence by completing college and using what she learned in college to take her where she is now (Oprah Winfrey 1992) . Openness may be a weakness for Oprah according to ( text book ) the internal locus of control may be an example and the locus of control states that individuals that externalize it believes that they have no control over their destiny in life and that the behavior that they exhibit does not affect their performance. With all the things that Oprah had encountered she did not lose hope in where her life was going. Oprah believes that her fate was and still is on her hands and she did not let these things get in between her destiny (Oprah Winfrey 1992) .
