Food is any substance that is eaten to nourish the body and can be solid or liquid. Food can be taken into the body by mouth, by tube or even directly into the vein for those who are unable to feed by mouth due to ill health or health issues which does not able them to eat or drink normally. Food makes your body work, grow and repair itself and the kinds of food you eat can affect the efficiency of these processes.
Diet refers to the types of food an individual consumes on a regular basis and means all the meals, snacks and drinks they have. Diet is also used to refer to the deliberate selection of food to control body weight or nutrient intake. An

Is due to the level of the haemoglobin becoming low therefore the person gets tired very easily and feels weak. The skin may become pale and lips and nails become dull and colourless.
When people talk about being overweight or obese, they mean that someone has more body fat than is healthy and that is required for their age and height. Everyone has some body fat, but excess fat can affect someone's health and ability to walk, run, and over mobility as well as how the person looks and their self-esteem. The department of health define the term overweight as those who have a body mass index (BMI) greater than or equal to 25. There are risks that come with being overweight and these consist of arthritis, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.
The term obese refers to a person who weighs much more than the healthy range for his or her age, gender, and height. There are a number of ways a person's weight can be assessed and the main method used is BMI. Body mass index (BMI) is your weight in kilograms divided by your height in metres squared. * if your BMI is between 25 and 29, you would be considered overweight * if your BMI is between 30 and 40, you would be considered obese * if your BMI is over 40, you would be considered very obese which is also known as morbidly obese

Being obese increases your risk of developing a number of serious and potentially life-threatening
