Flash! Boom! “You added too much sulfur peroxide.” “I realize that now Cindy.” “You should be glad I’m here George. I don’t know how you would survive.” “Ha ha. I’m gonna go clean myself up.” George walked into the bathroom. “Crap, now my hair is green. How long till’ this gets out?” “How did you get in here?” Asked Cindy in the other room. “Who is it?” asked George. George heard a sound, like a little fan. Then he heard it again. “Cindy?” yelled George as he started to walk out of the bathroom. Right as he turned the corner, he was looking down a silver barrel that led to a light in the back. After a hard workout of getting everything in place, he was done. He stood back and admired his work. Although it was a monstrosity of parts and flashing lights, it was done. Now all he had to do was test it. Suddenly a watermelon poofed into existence right before his eyes. He watched it for two minutes, then decided the time machine worked. He put the melon into the machine and set it for three minutes in the past, right where he was and sent it off. Tired, George decided to head home, satisfied with his test. He laid in his bed but couldn't go to sleep. A sudden thought filled him. A necessity that needed a craving. He always felt this need. But never this strong. Power. What would he do after he got Cindy back? If he released it to the public there would be other people who would do bad things in the world, and he couldn't just throw it away. No, use it for himself and gain so much power and fame. Yes, he wouldn't even need Cindy back. He could just recruit his past self.
