Compare/Contrast Paper Humans taking advantage of the earth has become a very common issue. average people or even celebrities have taken a stand against the poor conditions earth is put in by humans. After looking at many different platforms that discuss this issue chose a song and a political cartoon that depicts the issue at hand. The Political Cartoon is very abrupt at explaining the issues the earth is facing because of humans inconsideration. In this cartoon, the picture shows a man trying to hold up a fallen tree that has been cut by humans for economic purposes. Big Oil and Big Mining companies are demolishing our land just for a few extra bucks in their pocket. The cartoon calls out the idiocracy and the lack of consideration from big companies, the song, on the other hand, takes a more passive approach. In the Cartoon, the Big Industries are represented by three men dressed in suits that represent the CEOs of these companies that include: Oil, Mining, and Gas. These three CEOs are willing to put the environment in harm's way just to make a few extra dollars.
