Professional Athletes and Crime
In the world today there is a big problem with Professional Athletes and Crime. This is a problem because Athletes are not following the law of sports and government. Professional Athletes should be punished fairly from the government and the sport organization.
Professional Athletes may or may not get out crime because they get paid well. They should get punished fairly because they are humans and citizens like everyone (Rettner). All humans are the same no matter the race so they should get treated like everyone else. They get payed and have higher salary then everyone nut are still humans like us. (Rettner). No matter the salary or pay you get treated the same. Everyone has to serve time for their crime so it's up to the government or organization.
Crime can affect your carrier. You can lose money and salary cap. You can get suspended from games (McCarthy). You can lose your job and money for crime. The team can cut you and from the organization which means you lose your job (McCarthy). You …show more content…
One reason is because they broke a Federal Law (Travis waldron). Professionals break the laws and get punished for the crime. Another reason why athletes are in crime is because the broke the league and sports law so their in crime with the organization. The athletes have to consequences for breaking laws either with federal or organization law sometimes even both. Crime is a reason cause not everyone's perfect and we all make mistakes.
Pro Athletes can lose money from crime. Can lose sponsors that you me money off (Boswell). All brand names will stop paying you that u sponsor because of crime. A second way you can lose money is that you can get cut from the team and not get paid anymore by them (Boswell). You lose your job and career of the sport and stop making money. Money is lost for going to jail because when you're in jail you're not making money that u would make if you weren't in
