By nature I am a very reserved person when it comes to personal relationships. This also applies to my professional relationships. I look for certain qualities in people that I feel I offer. I want the real you, because you are getting the real me. Because of this, my network circle is relatively small and not particularly established, on the other hand, I really trust the people that are in my network. Throughout this course, I learned to appreciate the influence that networking has on career development and how informal relationships help build marketability. I understand that networking can begin with a simple introduction to a new neighbor or while waiting in line at a grocery store. Ultimately, everyone I meet can influence my career advancement.
