After discovering the pull tab collection project I immediately knew it would be a great way to help my school and community. I heard about the many benefits the pull tab collection obtained, and began campaigning at my school, 4-H Club, FFA Chapter, and around my community. Being ill is not a delightful feeling; therefore I made it a goal to help those who were being affected by an illness.
Throughout my experience with the pull tab project, I have encountered several roadblocks keeping me from reaching my goal of helping children. Several individuals have told me not to do this project because they saw it as "a waste of time." However, I did not allow these setbacks keep me from making a difference in children lives.
