What characteristics does one have to possess in order to become a good leader or perhaps a president. Intelligence, charisma, and accepting, in Lord of the Flies, Ralph has all three of these excellent traits. Both tribes accomplished many things but overall, Jack’s tribe created lots of chaos and anarchy.

Ralph is a very intelligent young boy. He had the idea to make a signal fire, and the idea to light it with Piggy’s specs. This shows intelligence and strategy and is almost vital to survival on the island. Another point that shows intelligence in Ralph is the fact that can put together a shelter or hut with only wood and vines. Building things with only wood and vines is a very hard task and he puts together one full hut in only a day
