In Randy pausch's, “Last lecture,” He gives his students good advice. So this made me wonder what is good advice. Not only to me but to everyone who has heard some piece of advice. The sense that I came away with was the brick walls in life aren’t placed there to set you back but rather to set you up for success.

A quote that I saw as good advice was, “I can’t control the cards I’m dealt, just how I play the hand.” This is saying that you can’t control what you are given, you won’t be given a straight path in life. It will all be dependent on what you make with what you are given. It it isn’t about they have this it is about making the best you can with the cardy you were given. One quote that highlighted the whole idea was,”What I learned from that is that the brick wall that are in our way are there for a reason. They are not there to keep us out. They are there to give us a way to see how much we want it.” I love this quote it shows me a lot of information first it shows us that even when we are feeling down like our dreams are out of reach that we feel this way because it is just a test. It is a test to see if we really want them to come to true. It when it says that,”they aren’t there to keep us out.” I completely agree with this because it says that don’t let anything hold you back live up to your full potential and when you do help others to find theirs. One of the last quotes that stand out is,”you better decide early on if you’re Eaor or a Tigger.“ This is good advice because it is saying that although he is going to die he doesn't want to be depressed.
