Going to Church Freedom is defined as the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. As I sit here and reflect upon freedom and what freedom means to me, I have come to realize just how truly lucky I am to reside in a free country. Living in a free country is a great privilege, because one has the right to pursue what truly makes them happy. The freedom that is most important to me and has truly enriched my life is the freedom of religion There are many freedoms that the United States and other free nations are so blessed to have the opportunity to take advantage of. I feel the most important is freedom of religion. The most important lesson I have learned is that no matter what I am going through, I can always go to church and pray about it. I have found that prayer always seems to help me in life. In some countries, such as Iran, people are persecuted for practicing their religious beliefs. I couldn’t imagine having to worry about what would happen to me if I were to kneel down and pray or go to church. For this I will always continue to be thankful that I live in the United States.
