Polar Bears: Polar Bears are the largest bear in the world. Their fur is an overall white. The skin underneath is black. This is because they live in the arctic circle. Their fur and the color of their skin keeps them very warm. The paws on a polar bear are very large. The paws also have sharp claws that can be used to grip ice, or kill prey. The male polar bears fight with each other for the females. The polar bear cubs are born while the females are hibernating. She then raises it, and, after approximately 2-3 years, the cub leaves.
