Lake Chapala being the largest fresh water lake attracts immigrants to reside by its side and it is very famous to be the weekend spot for the residents around the area. Ajic has been resided by much of the people from the northern side of the border which makes it a safe place as more gated communities reside their having a dominance in that area.
