What makes a great community leader? Every community has a great leader except one community, The African American community in the United States has been struggling in the area of leadership for many years. Some examples of good leadership programs are successful are the Jack and Jill of America program, the Young Black Leadership Alliance, the African American Leadership Program at Cardinal Stritch University, the African American Leadership Institute, and the Boys and Girls Club of America. In some areas it is tough for the kids to fit in the world. First it depends on their living conditions and growing up. Issues in their lives like being arrested or lack of education.
