Censorship, in schools, is being used to stop kids from reading or looking at inappropriate things on the internet or in a video but, is it really stopping kids from trying to look at those things? A vast majority of Parents think that Censorship should not be used in school not because of the inappropriate things but they think for their children and they hate Censorship because they think it goes against their opinions or beliefs and it's kind of stupid.
Censorship is a wonderful thing to use to keep kids away from nasty things. Kids that are in Kindergarten through 5th grade don't really need to be watching or reading inappropriate things, however when it comes to teens censorship is no longer needed, in some cases. Listen, when you read a textbook on our founding fathers it shows the good things about them and less of the bad things, but the truth is not being blocked out on purpose, but the textbooks are telling kids about all the good thing the Founding Fathers did even though they owned slaves, they did this and did that. Our history made our nation the way it is and that's why we have our rights, and freedoms, and constitution. Another thing Parents, try to do with censorship, is that they use it as a front to make sure their kids see what the parents want them to see. When a kid becomes a teenager they are going to see the real world. They are going to witness things that might not fit their beliefs but it's ok to let them go. It's ok to learn about the other religions, and read books that might have bad language in it because they can control them-selves and what they hear or see. It's ok to let them sit in a class that talks about sex and pregnancy and the human body because it'd preparing them for when they come home with their wife and new child.
