"Every Immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country". This is what the 26th president of the US had to say about immigrants. But nobody should go through this. People are immigrants because they leave their homes to have a better life, not learn another language. Nobody should be forced to leave a country just because of a language barrier. There are old people that can't learn a language that fast and fluently, and in just five years. Immigrants have been treated awfully over the years, and they do not get the help they need. They come to the US for a better life, but it just gets worse. These problems and many more are affecting immigrants and their families. It's a big problem in the US and nothing is happening about it. These people need to be able to live a real life, not one where you are scared you run out of money or get kicked out of the state. The help these people need is real and they need solutions, fast.

There are many issues, and the serious difficulties are work problems, you fill out an application to get a work permit, but also wait months just to get the card, and when you do get it, it's hard finding good paying jobs without the requirements they need, and no one lives a stable life by working low income and has 5 kids. Just in the past year, there have been approximately 285,000 immigrants that have come to the United States and just in January 2024, 6.78% are unemployed. This percentage can be for several reasons. Helping immigrants is the most important thing to do right now, because there are so many in the US, and just leaving them waiting isn’t the right thing. The United States is also called “the land of opportunity”, but without giving immigrants work permits to get some money or show their talent, what opportunity is there? Millions of people leave their families in their home country just to get some money or experience, but they have to stay in the US and can’t visit their home country again because if you come to the US and your work visa expires or you are not a citizen or don’t have a green card, when you go back to see your family and try to get back into the US later, they don’t let you in. That is why many people have not seen their mom, dad, sister, or brother. If all immigrants have better resources or people around them, we can all change the world, and if the US does what it needs to do, then America will be a more talented, beautiful, and equal
