Should Israelis Settlements Be Allowed In The West Bank?

Ever since the 1900s the Israelis and Palestinians have fought over the same piece of land. Many believe this fighting is religiously based, which is a part of it, but the conflict is mostly about two groups of people claiming the same land, as “The Israel-Palestine conflict, explained” stated. Furthermore, I have been asked to analyze given data and form an opinion on whether Israelis settlements should be allowed in the West Bank. After analyzing the given data, I condemn Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
I believe if a law was passed stating that all Israeli settlements are banned from the West Bank, we would start to see a decline in conflicts. If the Israeli settlements are removed from the West Bank, a two-state system would work because then the Palestinians would feel like they are being treated more like first-class citizens. Because right now the Palestinians feel like they are being treated like second-class citizens. The Palestinians have to live behind walls and experience checkpoints to even enter their cities. Since the wall was built there have been five suicide bombers from Qalqilya, showing the wall is not a permanent solution,and people are still going to carry out acts of violence. This also proves another one of Zahran’s statement, “These walls plant the seeds of hatred and revenge in people.” If the walls were removed and the citizens were treated fairly, these acts of violence would decrease,
