Should pit bulls be family pets? Pit bulls have been abused and mistreated since they were first bred in the United Kingdom. The pit bull has been known to be a fierce and dangerous breed because originally they were bred to fight bulls in pits which is where they got the name “pit bull” but no dog is ever born mean, pit bulls have been trained to fight and attack people because of their strength and speed which makes them a dangerous predator but really pit bulls can be really caring and well trained, and most of all pit bulls just want to please their owners which makes them a really loyal and protective breed. So we think pitbulls are really great dogs if they are taught well and pit bulls are actually about the nicest dogs you can find, which makes us think that pit bulls should be allowed to be a family pet.

Pitbulls are nice and caring animals. Furthermore, pit bulls have been tested by the American Temperament Test Society to be one of the most tolerant breed of dogs. In addition, it's also been proven that pit bulls actually give more kisses than any other dog. In the 1900s, pit bulls were actually commonly known as “nanny dogs” because they were so patient and caring for children.
