The Buddha, was born by the name of Siddhartha Gautama to a large and powerful group known as the Shakyas in Lumbini, within the sixth century B.C. His father was king who dominated the tribe, known to be economically poor and on the suburbs geographically. His mother died seven days after she gave birth to Siddhartha, however a good person prophesied nice things for the young Siddhartha: He would either be an excellent king or leader or he would be an excellent leader. To keep his son away from witnessing the distress and suffering of the planet, Siddhartha's father raised him in wealth in an exceedingly palace built only for the boy and protected him from facts of faith and human poverty. He remained there for many days, purifying his mind, seeing his entire life, and former lives, in his thoughts. Shortly an image began to make in his mind of all that occurred within the universe, and Gautama Siddhartha finally saw the solution to the questions of suffering that he had been seeking for a few years.
