Shakespeare's era and our modern America have both its similarities and differences. Playwriting, movie writing, vocabulary, the status of women, and grammer are all things that are different and similar. Some vocabulary that Shakespeare used and invented, we still use today. A few of these words are "hurry", "critic", and "suspicious". How grammer was used in that time was quite different then how we use grammer today. "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile" from "Love's Labour's Lost, 1.1.77", is an example of how they placed their words into sentences. Shakespeare's era and ours are different.

Why Shakespeare wrote and what he wrote are similar are similar to why we go to movies, plays, and why we watch television. We do this
