At a young age I experienced the rush of nerves, paired with an erratic heartbeat every time I tried to communicate with someone. This nightmare of mine was dubbed “Social Anxiety” from a condition called Asperger's. Not only was I on my own, I realized it was the dream on the brink of a nightmare. Social anxiety is when you are in a state of being uneasy and worried in certain places with people you don’t know. Sometimes I felt like I didn’t belong and just wanted to fit in. Other times when you want to get to know someone new, you don’t because you’re afraid of what they might think of you. Not every person experiences all the symptoms at once. Having this version of anxiety makes public speaking difficult. Sometimes when people have anxiety, they have sweaty palms, rapid heartbeat, and they even start to sweat a lot. When someone is having an anxiety attack to can tell when they start to stutter and sometimes they even pass out from hyperventilating. Sometimes I would feel like I was about to pass out but honestly all I needed to do was take a breath a wait a minute. I really get anxious when I have to talk to brand new people and that’s the most difficult part for me. When I see someone I want to be friends with I don’t end up saying anything because I feel like I’m going to say the wrong things so I just try to avoid
