Society go through many problems just like individuals do, but society survives through them. A Society is very strong in many ways. They help make everyone better, some say an individual is stronger, but a wise man once said “ 2 brains is better than 1”. A society has more brains than one individual. Society controls what all of the brothers do to make it better. The heads of the society keep the society working well. Society goes through many conflicts that they conquer. Society strengthens when they go through conflicts, because they get to work as a group and have better friendships.
Society controls everything that each brother does. If they do something wrong they would go to corrective detention that was ordered by the society. The first …show more content…
Society can over power one person just like what happened in anthem. They made the Equality go mad and it affected him and he ran away.
In Anthem the society is the part of the whole that keeps the society working, not the individuals. In the book many people go to the wise ones for help and then get shutdown. The wise ones run the whole society and give people the jobs that fit them. They make the places that people might or have to go there. The individuals don’t have the choice to choose what they want they get put in a spot for a reason. They all start in one area called the Home of the Students where they learn. They make the learning easy so then people are not intelligent. “The learning is so bad, the learning wasn’t too hard, but too easy “ Students stepped up and the council would say their job like cook, doctor, or leader” The society makes up the rules even if the people don’t like it. Everyone starts learning the easy stuff, but as people get older they learn the same things. The society made it that way and if the conflict hits the society they will have a way to not get hurt. It can hurt the society, but if the wise ones fix it will make them stronger because they will find a better way.
