Spatial inequality has become a leading matter in our developing modern society. It is known as the contrast between where people live and the condition of life they are accessible to. The further away you go from cities the higher number of spatial inequality there is. Spatial inequality is a serious situation that is increasing everyday; it affects the future of people as well as how they live. Results have shown that the highest unemployment rate comes from urban areas, which are more isolated from recreational facilities.

Their services include: food, shelter and housing for homeless people, a safe house for women, and centres for the disabled. Everyday the Salvation Army responds to spatial inequality and everyday they help make a difference.

This helps the less fortunate so they can have enough knowledge to get a job so they can live a normal life instead of being homeless and on the streets. St Vincent De Paul Society was originally founded in Australia in 1854. It aims to bring back men and women away from poverty and disadvantages. They are provided with furniture, clothing, food and water for free through Vinnie’s Centre.
