For those of you who have experienced a "Spiritual High" - a state of mind where you are just in simple joy of the very existence of a God who cares immensely about you, who has a purpose that is solely yours, who will never fail you, who always has your back, who straightens the crooked path, and smooths the rough road (Luke 3:5), and so much more - do you just feel the desire to stay in this "heightened state"? I believe that anyone who has a desire to be close to God, and a desire to bring the world close to God, has experienced this. We, as Christians, want to experience the beauty that is Christ's love for us. We wish to experience nothing else, not hurt, not pain, not disappointment, not judgement, not persecution, just Christ's love. …show more content…
And there is nothing wrong with that! Any time you have with God is a beautiful thing! But, do you realize the weight of that statement? That any time you have with God is beautiful? Because, do you see that from the moment you were born, until the moment you die, you are with God? This goes even further! If you have faith in God, and you love like he does, your time with God never ends! So, when you experience your "Spiritual High", realize that you don't just have to go to a Church camp or to a Church Retreat, or Church even, in order to experience this heightened closeness to God. You can experience God in all things you do, from opening a door for someone, to picking up a piece of trash off the street. God is willing to be everywhere with you. He won't say no to a walk through the park, he won't say no to a drive to work, he won't say no while you making dinner, he won't say no while you are watching TV, he simply won't say no to spending time with you. God is readily available to fill your mind with the sweetest thoughts, hope for an endless future. He doesn't want to see you worry, or in pain, or stressed
