Since the last reporting period, there has been an increase in activity. The ramp needed to be extended due to Talayeh not tolerating weight bearing to the right leg. She has begun physical therapy and I have been in close contact with her physical therapist. I have been told that the right foot is dropped and contracted. They cannot get a range of motion to the right ankle and she cannot bear weight. She has been evaluated by a specialist within their practice and a dynamic brace has been recommended. The physical therapist and I have been in constant contact with Dr. Saleh’s office to obtain the orders for the crutches and the brace. There has been a huge delay in getting the orders signed. There also has been a compression stocking provided for swelling to the right ankle and foot. Due to a conflict, Chris Callahan is attending the follow-up appointment with Dr. Saleh. The physical therapist is also attending the appointment so we can problem solve the disconnect between needed orders and them getting signed a returned. Callahan attended the appointment on 12/15/17 with Dr. Saleh. The external fixator device was removed in the office. Ms. Becquette tolerated the removal well. The physical therapist working with Ms. Becquette attended the appointment. Discussion took place regarding orders not being processed promptly. The dynamic brace has been ordered but takes weeks until it is available. In the meantime, an EMG is being ordered to see if there is nerve damage causing the drop foot. She is allowed 50% weight bearing for 2 weeks then can advance to full weight bearing. Physical therapy will continue and Dr. Saleh asked the therapist to become more aggressive. Per Ms. Becquette the ramp has been removed. Ms. Becquette is using crutches now to
