Night is narrated by Elie Wiesel, he was a jewish 12 year old in the beginning of the memoir. He lives in his hometown of Sighet in Hungarian Transylvania. As Elie Wiesel grew up he started to study the Torah, and the Cabbala. His instruction is to cut short, however when his teacher Moshe the Beadle is deported. In a few months Moshe the Beadle returns telling a horrifying tale, that the German secret police force took charge of his train which led everyone into the woods and systematically butchered them. But nobody believes Moshe who is taking as a lunitic. Throughout the ordeal Elie and his father help each other to survive by means of mutual support and concern that they will die from their tragic conditions or that they will be shot or killed by the German Soldiers. And he was confused why God didn’t help his father and he thought that it was unfair and that he didn’t deserve to experience his father die. And that night he lost all of his faith and became angry at God. later on in the camp everyone who is still alive and they are saved and the Nazis run away and leave the slaves and they start to leave. Elie survives the camp but at the moment he is in real bad conditions and is going to take a while to get back to his old self but he is just glad to be able to leave the camp. When they were set free on April 11,1945 was the day that the American army liberates the camp and sets all of the slaves
