There exist three types of homeless which are “chronic, transitional, and episodic (NCH, 2014).” Chronic, the ones who live on the streets “for a long period of time (Dionne, 2011),” they have no resources and need help from others to get off the streets. The transitional become homelessness for a short period due to different circumstances such as “loosing a job, important material lost, lost of main breadwinner (father, husband, wife) etc. (Dionne, 2011).” Lastly, the episodic which “falls in and out of homelessness (Dione, 2011),” this individual are often the one who are involved with drugs of have a mental or medical issue.
