“What doesn’t kill you only makes you Stranger” (Joker, The Dark Knight). In the United States, One of the many big impacts of terrorism that comes to mind is the case of 9/11. In the books Hunting The Dark Knight Twenty First Century by Will Brooker and Reframing 9/11: Film, Popular Culture and the War on Terror by Randell Karen coincide with the theme of “terrorism” viewed in Nolan’s film The Dark Knight. Terrorism is the use of violence and extortion in a society to establish a political goal.
