The field of kinesiology is something that has been my focus for quite a while now. My whole life has been full of sports and physical activity, and it has helped mold who I am today. Through football, and soccer, and many other sports that I have played, I have been taught the importance of hard work and setting high goals. Therefore, I have chosen to embark on my journey to becoming a Sports Management major at Texas A&M. Within the next ten years, I see myself working with some of the major apparel companies such as Adidas or Nike, signing professional athletes to endorsement deals. Challenging myself has always been in my nature. I am confident that when my mind is behind a task, I have the ability to surpass the greatest of adversities. I came into my freshman year seeking a business degree, but I did not feel that these courses specifically reflected my interests and passions. As my athletic career came to an end due to injury my senior year in high school, I had to ask myself what I wanted to do with my life. Knowing that I wanted to be centered around sports, a business degree seemed to be the right choice because it would lead me to some sort of management. After researching and asking many questions, I have found sports management. Unlike many sports management majors, I am currently a basic exercise physiology major. With my knowledge of how the body works and the processes it must go through, I am confident I can bring something to the table that will benefit the sports management field. Being able to connect with athletes on a personal and physiological level is something I think will not only benefit myself, but my classmates at Texas A&M, and my peers further into my
