In all tragedies you have a tragic hero. Tragic heroes are characters who make an error of judgement or have a fatal flaw that, combined with fate and external forces, brings on tragedy. In the crucible by arthur miller john proctor is a tragic hero.john proctor is a tragic hero because he meets the qualities. A tragic hero is someone who saves the day but a tragedy happens to them like they die or they end up losing someone they love.There are some qualities of a tragic hero, a tragic hero has their own flaws, has a conflict with him or herself and sometimes a hero creates a disaster and they also seek fulfillment. A tragic hero also suffers from within we as human beings have flaws that we regret and wish we had never done. heroes have flaws like wishing they could have saved that person from that burning building but couldn't because it was too late. A person can make the wrong person mad and they will try their very hardest to make your life miserable. Someone can also kill a lot of people and the families will be destroyed forever.
