The hero’s journey is in many novel’s, from the books of Little Red Riding Hood to the Hunger Games. In Ben Mikaleasen’s novel Touching Spirit Bear, the main character Cole follows the same journey. Some of the phases of the hero’s journey in that book are The Call to Adventure, Test/Allies/Enemies, and Reward. These phases that Cole went through made Cole a different and a better person for a better life.
